News has hit the internet that matches are in the air - the stork is flying! The cut off is 9/15 - what a great batch! All that blabbering about being calm in my last post, yeah, that's gone! I'm crazy excited! After 6 years we will soon have a face to match the love I have had for our daughter!! WooHoo - we are IN!
Update: Our agency has referrals...phone calls on Monday!

Congratulations on your imminent referral! When you have the basic information, come and visit us for even more. We have foster family contacts, orphanage photos, and the newspaper finding ad, which contains a photo months younger than the referral photos. We can answer all of your questions, and provide you with a lot of information on your child.

I just found your blog through RQ and just had to say congratulations! Our log in date was 3/6/06 and we have been home with our daughter for 3 years. Our whole process was 5 years as we had to fundraise for a year before actually beginning the paper chase and our wait for a referral was three years and one month. I can not imagine having to wait even longer like you have. But, I can tell you that after some time at home with your daughter, the pain of that long wait is SO WORTH every agonizing month. We wish you a great trip and a beautiful future together.
