THE Call - June 25th, 2012

Our match call was so exciting.  I finally got to see our daughter's face, learn how old she is, where she is living and how she got there.  My mom and aunt were there recording and snapping shots as it all happened.  The entire call was about 25 minutes but here is a little less than 2 minutes of the call and my reactions.  The phone call that changed our lives!

Couldn't see it on my iPhone, so I came on my computer. Priceless footage! & it was so great you at least had a bit of an idea when that call would be coming. I was caught on my hubby's iPhone video completely surprised....meaning nasty hair & no make-up first thing on a Monday morning ha ha! But...still priceless no doubt. Love that you are also finding your connections.

Oh my goodness ... I just bawled as I watched that moment! Thanks for sharing! It is so wonderful to see that joyful moment unfolding in your life! Could there ever be a more perfect stamp of God on your adoption than that name? I know you love her already ... you have for 6 years! Praying for a FAST TA!!!!!

Kelly,
What a priceless moment. And talk about a red thread!!! Did you mention her name on your application anywhere? I love Zane's innocent reactions to the whole thing. May the next steps be swift, smoothe, and speedy!!!!

I just found your blog through another blog that I follow. We have a little girl from China, Lucy...and the same thing happened to us! We had decided on her name 4 years prior to bringing her home, and when we got our referral call, they told us her name given at the orphanage was Lu Qie! God is so good..and so is that red thread! Loved reading your blog, and will follow your journey. I blog about Lucy at lifewithlucyann.blogspot.com, and have many ladybug stories too! If you have any questions, feel free to contact me: karbuzz24@yahoo.com
