Zane is Two!

I can't believe today is Zane's second birthday. It was a blink of the eye that he was born. He entered our lives in a flash and has been the light of our lives since. With only 5 weeks notice that he was on the way, he arrived almost two weeks early. It was the most joyful, stressful, exciting experience of our lives. No words can express how much he is loved. We are so thankful for him each and every day. And with that, Happy Birthday Zane!

Awe, Zane is so cute! Jack turned two as well this month. So crazy. They get big so fast.

I was honored to be part of your process, Kelly and Mike. Zane is a handsome fellow and it's amazing how quickly they grow. God bless his birth mother and all the girls and women who 'choose life' for their babies. Adoption is such a profound experience on so many levels. My heart is full of love for all the birthmothers that I know (including of course, my kids' birthmothers). I know how deeply Zane is loved by all. Now, sheesh, how much longer will it take for Mia to come?!?! Prayers to all you waiting China families as well. Talk about a 'journey'...who would have anticipated any of this?
