It's Easter time!

Today my mom and I went to the local candy shop where the Easter Bunny was making a stop. Zane seemed to really like him! I LOVE being a mom!! It's so much fun!!

Our Timeline

June 1995 - our first date

July 1996 - we got engaged

March 1997 - we were married!

March 2001 - we decided to try to start a family

February 2006 - we decided to adopt from China

March 2006 - we began our paper chase

August 2006 - we finished our dossier - DTC 8/16/06

September 2006 - LID 9/12/06

June 2007 - we decided to look into a domestic adoption

September 2007 - we were match with a birthmother

October 22, 2007 - Zane was born!

November 2007 - our dossier made it out of the review room

March 19, 2008 - our "Family Forever Day" - Zane's adoption was finalized

June 25, 2012 - Match Day! We received our referral for Mia Jade!

August 20, 2012 - Travel approval arrived

September 5, 2012 - Leave for China

September 9, 2012 - Gotcha Day!! We get Mia Jade!

September 10, 2012 - Adoption Day

September 21, 2012 - Home! At last a family of 4!
