Where is any good news from China?

I'm feeling a bit down about our wait for Mia.  Referrals have not picked up since the Olympics, the total numbers for adoptions over the year is the lowest its been in years and we just passed 2 years waiting with no end in sight.  The last batch only covered 2 days and March '06 (the month they are entering for referrals) is one of the biggest months there has been.  It could take most if not all of 2009 just to get through the month.  We could be waiting another 2-3 years.  I never imagined this is what the wait would be.  Ugh.

I agree. It's very frustrating. Rumors indicated that things would speed up after the Olympics but I never fully bought into them. At this point, we're still in it for the long haul. Thank God we have our sons to keep us busy. One day we'll celebrate our double blessings when we receive our girls' referrals. Hang in there!

Hang in there!!! I'm so happy that you are continuing in your journey to Mia (not happy with the delays)and eventually, it will all be worth it. I love the Zane updates and you're always in my thoughts at referral time.
On the up side... at least they are referring 2006 LIDs (sorry, I'm digging for silver lining here)
